Education in South Africa are divided into three (3) different types of categories –
- Independent Schools (Private)
- Government Schools (Former Model C)
- Governing body-funded public schools
Children that come from a family with a middle- and high income, normally attends Private Schools which are far more expensive than public education. Although some of the country’s best schools fall within the Governmental School and may cost a bit less than a Private School, however Governmental schools standards vary widely compared to Private Schools.
